How are personalized books different from ordinary books?
Personalized children's books are unique, customized books where the child becomes the star of his or her own story. Each story includes the child's name, age, hometown and friends names, plus a personal message or dedication from you. Our books will make reading fun for children while engaging their imagination, teaching as they entertain and becoming a valuable keepsake. Each book in our library features thoughtfully written stories, beautiful color illustrations and are bound in washable hard covers. We offer a wide selection of titles for every child in your life and for any special occasion. How long does it take to process and receive my book?
Processing times may vary - orders could be processed immediately or up to 72 hours after the order is placed. Orders are typically shipped within 24-72 hours upon receipt of your ORDER and PAYMENT. Processing times may be longer during the peak season (October-December) as our orders increase. We offer 3 methods of shipping depending on how quickly you would like to receive your book: Express (usually overnight to 2 days); Priority (2-3 days); Media (up to 10 business days)

How many pages are in a personalized book?
The number of pages in our books differs depending on which size you order. Our Deluxe Size (6x9) have 24 pages, and our Giant Size (9x12) have 18 pages. All books feature colorful illustrations with storyline text printed on alternating pages.

What if a book I order is out of stock?
If a book you order is out of stock, we will notify you by e-mail after we receive your order. It can take approximately 2 weeks to process out of stock books. If you would like to choose a different title, simply let us know via e-mail. You may also request to cancel your order.

Can an order be changed after it's already been submitted?
Yes, your information can be changed if you contact us before your order is processed (usually within 24 hours of placing your order). Just send us an e-mail at
orders@tlc-expressions.com. Please tell us your name, the child's name, the title of the book, and your order number along with the information you need to change. As long as your order has not already been processed, we can make the requested changes. If the order has already been processed, then we will be unable to make any changes. It is very important to check all your information before placing an order. Please keep in mind that once an order is submitted, processing time may vary - it can be processed immediately or up to 72 hours after the order is placed.

My order arrived damaged, what should I do?
Contact us immediately via e-mail at orders@tlc-expressions.com
. Please include your order number when contacting us. You will need to obtain an authorization to return your damaged order within 30 days of purchase date for a replacement or refund. Please read more on our Return Policy.

Is it safe to pay with my credit card?
Yes! At TLC Expressions we take your security very seriously and utilize industry-standard security measures to protect your confidentiality. Your transaction will be processed by the leading global certification authority encryption, and will be transferred using Secure Socket Layers (SSL). The SSL encrypts the information into an indecipherable code before it is transmitted and processed immediately. You will notice an  icon displayed at the bottom right corner of the browser throughout the ordering process which indicates the page is secure. Your credit card number is not stored in our server at any time.

What is PayPal ?
PayPal is an online payment service designed to help merchants and consumers handle online transactions in a secure and safe environment. PayPal is the safest and most reliable method to pay for online purchases because it hides your personal credit card information from the merchant. We will never see your credit card number. PayPal abstracts the payment process and simply notifies us when the transaction has been completed.

Do I need a PayPal account to pay using PayPal?
No. You can use PayPal to pay for your order without an account. You can use ANY credit card or debit card to pay for your purchase through PayPal without EVER signing up for a PayPal account. And it's FREE to use! Click here for instructions 

Is Using PayPal Safe?

Information is protected by SSL with an encryption key length of 168 bits (the highest level commercially available). When you use PayPal, your financial information is not shared with the merchant. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for your transaction.

Do I have to pay sales tax on my order?
Sales tax is only applicable to orders shipped to the state of California.
